Im sure members would not turn down the shares we have been offered.
WE are there to raise money to pay for players, and yes over the years we have probably been the biggest sponser and haven't perhaps been given credit for how much money we have raised , however times are changing and we have been promised shares, although this doesn't change anything. It was also said they would back date it.
This season we are sponsering 4 players and our membership is at its highest ever.
Everything is achieveable if we work hard enough to get it.
Once the share thing has been sorted our members will have to elect someone to take the seat.

Not a chance.
I could not live with the criticism as I am a simple soul who likes to keep a low profile.
My opinion is' the smaller the Board' the quicker decisions are reached.
Seems to me LISA should be about raising funds to buy players or to assist the club through bad times. I doubt many members would enjoy being a representative on the Board as the Board and LISA are in regular contact anyway.

The Watcher would like to thank Dick Jones for that honest reply to a genuine question. A lesson to other users of this MB in that name calling is not always required & that sensible chat can be had on here once in a while. |

In answer to the question how much we have given the club since being set up.
LISA have given the club another £5000 tonight so in total £235,000, which is truly fantastic. |

I wish folk would understand that owning a share doesn't mean sitting on a board. Owning a share is vital imo for the supporters, it guarantees transparency amongst other things. Shareholders then elect a working board, which may or may not include a supporters rep. We cannot run our club by committee, we need strong day to day leadership supported by transparency guaranteed by a shareholding. |

My Bank will start paying from January 8.
I shall go to the ticket office this week to get my ticket for the Salford game and pay the £20 I owe for December.
When I am there I will ask about when I get my season ticket and report back.
