These trolls amuse me. It's as if Leigh losing a match in some way makes their own season more of a success. In any normal, fair P & R set up Leigh would be promoted on merit.

We play Salford next week. I thought we would lose the first 2 games anyway. We haven't been given an easy start, no need to panic.

Oh yeah, my bad. Think you'll have a decent chance against Salford next week if you play like you did in the first half today but for 80 minutes.

A very uncomfortable game for us Rovers fans until Cockayne's try.

I think you're right.

Not sure it made any difference to the result but why did the referee tell Ben Cockayne to ground the ball for the final score before awarding the try, then refer it to the video ref for review. For me it's up to the player to make that call not the referee.

Just to make one thing clear before posting, I've never liked going to Leigh. We've done badly almost every time ive ever been and at Hilton Park the security was always extremely over zealous. However, having been at the game today, Leigh would be very deserving of a place in SL if they do qualify for one. The brand of rugby played in all areas of the park makes for a very entertaining spectacle. Today's game was an extremely even fought contest that I think was ultimately settled by Rovers extra professionalism. A lot to go off for Leigh though and you're in with every chance of making the cut for SL next year.
Get shot of Gaz Hock asap though, complete and utter waste of space.
