Spot on. Yes they scored with what must surely have been an offside player in the second half, but it wasn't the referee missing tackles, forcing the ball or giving away the most daft of penalties; Wilkes' shoulder charge prior to Spaven's try early in the second half was absolutely pathetic and really isn't something a player of his experience should be trying to come up with.
The clamour for McNally to play half back should probably come to a grinding halt now, and as disruptive as Brierley's injury was, there was more than enough talent and experience to have guided us around the middle of the park without any issues, but the lack of organisation was staggering.
On the bright side, Barlow was immense again and it with any luck it will have been an almighty boot up the for the rest of them.
Must say credit to Doncaster by the way, they took their chances when they needed to and didn't half put us under the cosh and kept forcing the repeat sets which is always a big thing in warm weather like today.

We all thought he was offside from the kick as well and we had a better view of it at the other end of the stand.I didn't even celebrate the try at first as I was convinced the ref as going to pull it back. Be interesting to see it on the video later in the week.
Couldn't really tell with McNallys double movement where we were if the ball hit the ground on the first impact or not. Great travelling support from you lot today. Best of luck for the rest of the season.

| Well I have said all season we would get beaten , so Charlie knew , but what got my back up today was some so-called Leigh fans , I heard shouts of Rubbish ,and "This is crap Leigh " and other negative remarks , let me tell you , Leigh were well on top before young Ryans injury ,our defence was in particular very good , the pressure on our line in the first half was very strong yet we stood firm .I very rarely criticise Refs but thar try of Donnys was a mile offside , Crashley never penalised them once , McNallys try didn't look a double movement to me , and they knocked on twice , Crashley gave Donny the feed .
We had a few injuries out there today , Pownall was limping for most of the match , Armstrong looked very sore ,and Ryan missed a big chunk of the game , yet we still managed to create a fair few chances , Donny are a good team no doubt , its not the end of the world , we have lost a game , it happens , lets re-group for Saturday , we are still 10 points clear at the top which means we only need 11points to clinch the League Leaders shield , Fev have to play at the LSV and the Shay yet , and Fax have to go to Donny yet ,obviously im sad we lost , but not to down , Cmon you Leythers lets show the lads we care ,turn up at the LSV on Saturday , the doubters will see this League is still ours .Charlie knows .

Yes or play young Higson there from the start enabling Kay to cover Ridyards absence more effectively than Bob can at half back,
As much as I rate Bob as a fine hooker, one of the best outside SL in fact, he is not an half back in the memory of mon.

Fred I agree everyone has an opinion , but the lads didn't deserve some of the comments , we have had a GREAT season up to now , and I know it will continue , the lads were Gutted to lose today you could see that from their Body Language , a few things went against us today , we made the breaks just couldn't finish them off , young Ryans injury affected us , Pownall got injured and a few other took knocks , I know this is all part of the Game , but I think we will comeback stronger now and kick on for the rest of the season .
I also think you were wrong about the pitch , it looked in very good shape today , and I couldn't see any sand .

| Its a loss Charlie, it was inevitable at some point and it will not deter us from finishing where we are heading thats for sure. However we must never stop thinking we do not need to improve.
You can bet your last dollar young Rowley will hold the same opinion.

Harold it came as no surprise to me as ive been predicting a lose at some time , to go unbeaten is very hard in this League , but we nearly achieved it .I don't think anybody at Leigh feels we don't need to improve , that's why I think the Paul and the BOM are doing a great job , they show us their ambition by keep signing players and not sitting back admiring themselves , todays game is gone , lets move on and think about Saturday , we only need 11 points , hopefully on Saturday evening it will down to 8 , Fev have to play US and Fax yet , Fax have to play Donny and Fev , Donny are the Dark Horses for 2nd spot , I enjoyed the Keepmoat experience anyway , and we earned a Bonus Point .

| Yes I enjoyed the day, they have a great set up there from the kids zone on the concourse to the bar upstairs that as a very welcome and inclusive feel to it. The Doncaster BOD have done well an deserve second spot for me. 13 pound adult admission is spot on as well.
Also anyone who thinks that playing surface is not perfect for rugby league has rocks in their head.

| All the Riddy knockers are silent tonight
We had a hooker at 6 when we have two players who can play there on the field also we lose our seven and then put a second rower on at 7 strange
I thought we should have tried Kaye at 6 today his chance to shine We has cover for him .
Also if Riddy and Ryan are out next week another option is govin at HB

Lynda , I could be wrong , but I thought when Higson came on , he went on the wing , Pownall went to full-back , and McNally went to scrum -half .

Correct, was Beswick and McNally at half back. Neither are strangers to playing there, far from it in fact so I'm not really buying it as an excuse.
