Hood in the squad so let's see what happens, good to see Higson

No Weston, shame as he was starting to step up over recent weeks

Have to say the video naming the squad is extremely annoying, bad enough at the best of time but for players to be listed randomly is frustrating at best

The video announcement is a complete waste of money and effort. Why can't they just produce a graphic like everyone else.

As good as it is to see Higson, I think I'd rather keep Naughton in. Seems to score tries when he plays.

Assume Weston has picked up a knock? Otherwise the decision to select Green ahead of him is baffling.

That's assuming everyone is fit to play, and Paterson probably wont do full 80, so need a second rower on the bench. If fit, Hood could probably do a stint at 13 with Pelissier at 9. Still like to see another back rower brought in before the 8s, wouldn't be too confident with Vea, Stewart and Tickle in the pack.

Haven't got time for all that when a list of names would be better so I can see all the squad at once- numerical order a bonus really.

Why is it a shame that Weston is not in the Squad? No room for sentiment or fave players, the Coach picks his best 17 players available in his opinion, and goes with his choice, and stands or falls by his choice. The same has been said about McNally , but give me Mitch Brown every day of the week, Jukesy obviously feels the same, Leigh need a win.

It's a shame because he's ten times the prop forward that James Green is.

But yes, it is a matter of choice. Just that some are more baffling than others.

We all have our own opinions on every player,but really its down to Jukesy and his Staff to pick the 17 they think will give Leigh the best chance of a win,James Green has his critics but again we don't know what happens in training, not even Charlie knows that .I'm surprised Vea has got a recall, but I have faith in the coaches.

Naughton before Higson, your having a laugh surely. Doesn't offer the same as Higson or anywhere near. Done ok don't get me wrong, but Higson takes the ball from dummy half and the pressure off forwards as much as any winger in SL (and no that doesn't make him the best by any means), and apart from having a tendency to drift inside is big enough and fast enough to be very solid defensively

Don't think that team is far off for me, possibly Green before Vea - Stewart to start, normally puts the 80 in

It's a shame AS HE WAS STARTING TO STEP UP OVER THE LAST FEW WEEKS, nothing to do with sentiment, I was one of his biggest critics when he first came back this season. But he has been performing better than other props named in the squad

Not sure where you have seen it said about McNally (probably the Facebook page ), but not many would disagree with Brown at FB, certainly not me

But seriously, a big plus, sure there's stories to be told but that nothing to do with us fans- so long as he is happy and the club is happy that's fine by me, very underrated player IMO

We have missed Patterson greatly.

A big plus. The club needs a big confidence boost and to be fair, we always seem to do well against Salford.

Lets hope the boys enjoy the occasion and give it their all. The next win isnt far off.

Well we saw some of the best and plenty of the worst of Higson yesterday. Not fair to hang him out to dry over the red, but making a change at second row, centre and wing on the left hand side was just stupid. The back line wasn't the problem against Wakefield. It was the forwards. Fair enough he dropped Green, but Stewart and Tickle survived, while 2 backs made way.
