| Quote: Alexs Dad "Lots of kids and concessions in there though mate and not enough adults yet given what the club have done this last year or so.
Both tropies won, full time squad, fought off demands for our top players, lowered the age of the squad, signed a world famous Fuifui, made kids free entrance, and done interest free credit on the season tickets. Not much more to be done with the budget we've set.
We have a superb hardcore of loyal fans, we now need the rest of town to show the sport that Leigh wants Super League rugby.'"
I agree we should be getting more and think nearer the time we will although I thin k we'll do well on Pay on the day next season.
Is it free for kids next season or do you mean free ST if bought with an adult one?
Was going to get a Child ST for £30.00 but if its likely to be free I'll spend the money at the club on something else.

| You can get a form from the office for the Junior Centurions (ie. Under 16's) which is free and includes a season ticket.
re: parts season tickets, 10 game tickets etc. it seems to me getting very messy and unmanageable as the tickets are usually only shown at the game and never scanned anyway. Maybe a Half Season Ticket halfway through the season, otherwise just pay on the day as you don't save that much anyway, it's just showing your commitment early if you can make most games plus you can pick your seat.
And for those who can't read the sticker on the seats, "Reserved for Season Ticket Holder", means it's Reserved for a Season Ticket Holder.

re
Rather than an actual single ST, a book of real tickets, but usable at any game?

| Any 'part' season ticket should be a higher pro rata price than the full season tickets IMHO - is there much room for movement working along those lines?

A more practical middle ground would be vouchers that would need to be exchanged at the ticket office for a ticket for that particular game.

A minimal saving Matt, similar to the pre purchase we've done before
Which requires queuing pre match, which is one of the points of buying them

| My point is that the full season tickets already have something of a minimal saving.
I'd also say that any new supporters are likely to be much easier to educate to actually buy tickets in advance or at least turn up earlier - if we want to become a big club, then it's time we started acting like it instead of pandering to the 'five to three' culture. Don't like queuing; buy a season ticket or turn up earlier, just as you do at any other sporting event, concert and the like.

More than a £ 1 saving though
' Educate '? We want them to come and enjoy themselves
' Big Club '? , you mean like Warrington?
Single ' Events ' only require 1 purchase

| But buying six non-specific match tickets wouldn't be a single event, would it?

No, so why did you compare it?

Because it was you that mentioned it.
Quite frankly I can't be bothered typing out the full logistics issue as we've been through this before, but the fact is if we're expecting decent crowds then the club will be in hot water if non-specific 'tickets' are to be accepted on the turnstiles. That was why I suggested a voucher system so that all entrance requirements can be fulfilled.
If the main object of the exercise is to get people to feel 'part' of the club without shelling out for a full season ticket while still remaining a slight financial benefit, then I would suggest a membership scheme where an individual can pay c£5 and save, for example, a quid per home game (one discount per membership). This then allows these people to save a few quid over the season without getting a better deal than ST holders, while also providing much needed data capture for these types of supporters who are no doubt completely 'missing' from any previous databases. Yes, it means having to buy a ticket each time you wish to attend, but short of investing in a 'proper' turnstile and ticketing system whereby said membership cards can be activated for each game purchased there's not much way around it, though I would suggest having individual matches on sale as early as possible.

| For a stadium that is so fantastic in most respects it does seem that the ticketing and turn style arrangements have been left rather half d.

| It's simple, as with most modern stadia, you can't get in without a ticket. Nothing half d about it.
