I think I'd sooner play Shefield in the semi at LSV than in the final

Was discussing this at half time. The team we should fear the most is ourselves. If we turn up and stick to our game plan and execute, whichever team we play should not be able to beat that, if we don't then all of the other teams can beat us.

Looking at the attitude of if you play the same fixture twice , and plural being two then wont it matter who plays the first fixture or change after the second one ?

I don't really mind who we get, we've show that if we play well we can beat anyone. Would rather not have Doncaster again though, it'd just be cruel to make them loose to us twice.

The worst scenario of any is Sheffield making the final. Their turnout for the NRC final was embarrassing both for them but also for Championship rugby. Apparently they are classed as a development area so probably get a ton of grants which keeps them going. Clearly not using them to grow support

Everybody should be "developing" if not in SL and even if they are. Plus Sheffield have won the Challenge Cup in the 90's and spent plenty of time in the top flight so to say it's a development area is a little unfair to other clubs if that's the case.

I do however have some sympathy with the fact they haven't had a fixed abode for quite some time now. That surely doesn't help build up any kind of fan base despite their recent successes. I do hope they can find somewhere permanent to play as it would be a crying shame if they ever went out of existence because of the drop off in support due to that issue.

Re: semi final opponents although Sheffield ended the season in good form Dewsbury's battering of Workington certainly sent a firm message to everyone.

There wont be any easy semi final but as per other posts if we apply ourselves correctly I'd expect us to beat anyone in our league.

We have 2 games left at most this season which is double what can be expected of most and the threat will be times by 2 and 50% highger that last season , some think Sheff will pose a problem , they wont if they get knocked out on Sunday it wont matter , for me Fev are likely to have a double edge to their bow , and will open up options to be avoided .Charlie knows .
