Think the problem again is guilty by association to the past here and also tap room gossip.

Ive heard from many sources this week "Beaumont is back and Beaumont has rescued Leigh" etc etc, this is what happens when you jump on a microphone in a public place and announce the second coming.

I have absolutely nothing to say about the original post but like Ian posted on another thread, it fills me with dismay what is being said and what some people are trying to get off the ground, the second this club has a financial blip. Who the fluff thinks that they can step in and takeover the board with a weeks notice? None of you. You will just drag the club even deeper into the grip an mire. I am gobsmacked.

I think that's why people have been working quietly in the background to build and submit a proposal for wider approval. and not jumping up and waving money about, Don't doubt the quality and skills of people looking at this problem.

Fred Goodwin AKA Fred the Shread left should have been sacked' too late imo. RBS will be worth a bit for investors if you can afford to invest for 18 months. 40% increase and if you don't believe me you could save this post.

Was everyone employed by RBS culpable ? Of course not.

I'm not a great fan of Mr Freer but the comments in the original post are bordering on being libellous there are a lot of people in this great sport of ours that are not whiter than white.

No Keith it's an observation and I reckon it is no risk at all when you consider how much our government put up to bail RBS out.

Just a defence of Gary Hetherington - a true giant of our game. Started Sheffield up from scratch then picked Leeds up from an all time low to become world champs. Add the work Kath has done and include Gary's earlier work with Players' Union and what can you say? - Every club should have one!
