If the bookings for the coach is anything to go by, went well early on in the week , half full within a day of going on sale, but stayed at just over half full, let hope we have a lot going in cars etc.

Apologies. I didnt book on the coach in the end as we have since been offered a lift up to the Bulls on Sunday by my muckers nephew who is back in Leigh for the weekend.

I must say, Rugby League at this level really has become a sorry state of affairs if the fixture is not deemed attractive enough to even fill more than half a coach on a Sunday.

This twinning business is really'and as predicted' harming and devalueing the Championship.

There were three clubs in our league who took fans in reasonable numbers to away games.

Quite frankly say 600 of those travelling fans don't go to away games because of twinning it costs the twinned club about £6k a season.

I suppose they contrast that with avoiding relegation and the travelling costs of trips to Hemel' Skolars' Gateshead Gloucester and Oxford and their teams being watched by 2/300 fans.

Licenscing works on continents because of distances between centres of population density eg OZ and the USA and twinning works there for the same reason.

You would have to be a complete moron not to realise that would never work for a game which is esentially regional ie M62 corridor. Oh yeh we now have amateur RL in the South East and South West of England but at what cost to those clubs in the M62 corridor ?

Re the amateur game 50 years ago us Leythers arranged a RL game with Fulham RL fans. I still watch the game. I wonder if the lads we played against all those years ago do.

We are at a cross roads for pro RL and there are two things what need to be imeadiately addressed I honestly don't think the guys at the top of the RFL have the brains or the cohones to realise that.

We are driving over, the problem for me these days is the last bus from Leigh to Warrington on a Sunday is ten past five, it used to be 11ish!

We travel to and from Warrington if that's any help to you in the future.

There's 5 seats left on the coach , i changed it to the 39 seater. I'm disappointed in this but hopefully because it s not so far more are goi g over in cars.
