Thats the point Fred , we will/should know by now almost exactly what our income will be next season , so whoever we get has to fit around that in the first instance
People need to realise , there is nobody there now to just sign a personal cheque to pay a bill/wage when the bank says " No "
Next year we have to live within our means , we will still have contracted commitments we have to honour , the figures have to add up , and in my experience you never cover every possible eventuallity , so you have to work on your expenditure being say 90 % of your income

It would be his first job as a head coach so I can't see him wanting the earth in terms of wages. The only difference is if we spend the extra £15k or whatever to get a full-time coach (Purtill) instead of a part-time one (McCormack?). |
