You raise a good point - hopefully the club or at least someone local will be selling the book as it will mean less money for Amazon and more for Tommy or the club.

Can whoever is looking after local distribution let us know as soon as possible where we can get it from?

The question has been asked as to where it will be available locally so I'll get back to you on that one! There will also be a 'launch event' of some description the details of which are yet to be decided but again I'll keep you all informed!

Right I've just spoke to the author Andy Hampson who has said there is a possibility it will be sold from the ticket office although this has yet to be confirmed. The publishers are also looking into the possibility of some local stores stocking it and again I'll confirm these on here when that's ben finalised.

As for the release date apparently the 31st March is a "conservative date" and they are hoping to get it out a little earlier. When there is a concrete date I'll pass that on also.

Was round at my grandads last night to show him the draft front cover which I was sent yesterday and he had the biggest smile on his face! He is very proud of the book I think. I can't tell you how excited he is about it coming out!

thanks Saley! Looking forward to it coming out. You could get people to pre-order and as a reward they get their name in the back pages as an honorary sponsor or such like.

I have seen that work very effectively in the past - people like to see their name in print!

I can confirm we are working towards a publication date of the end of March. As well as Amazon, the book will be available from the LSV ticket office, the Leigh Centurions online shop, Scrum Down Under on Railway Road and C&D Books in town as well as the usual book outlets across the north west such as WH Smiths, Waterstones etc (particularly if people create demand by asking for it!). Additionally we will also be holding a number of launch events/signing sessions and we will publicise details in the new year.
