| Thought every single player had outstanding games Mac at full back was superb took some really difficult balls and took his try really well.Platt and Armstrong Kay ,Higson where great both on attack and defensive Riddy & Kes totally dominated there Fev opposites but every single player defended like their lives depended on it all the forwards ran themselves into the ground and at times our attacking play was up there with the best I've ever seen from a Leigh team This is a outstanding club from top to bottom I can't believe how far we have come in the last 12 months Thanks for a wonderful season loved every minute great club great stadium awesome squad of players... I must be dreamin lol

| Riddy himself said "i'm only accepting this award for all 17 of the boys, it was a team effort". Which i thought was both correct and very very gracious, top guy Riddy

| I thought it would be between Martin, Tom Armstrong and Kurt Haggerty. They were my calls if I had to pick but every single one of them deserved it. Did you see the footage of them going up the steps for the trophy. The were jogging up there. I remember when I used to be that fit.

| Bet they weren't jogging today. They put there bodies on the line and must be sore today.
For me Riddy was a good call for MOM but every player on the field was huge. McNally had a blinder for me, as did big Sam. Haggerty was rock solid and Armstrong was so strong in attack and defense. All our forwards were immense. With a worry that some of our best forwards were out injured, the whole pack stood up and made it a none issue. Fev tackled feverishly but when it takes 3 and 4 players to stop the likes of Jake Emmit then gaps are bound to come.
Well done all the team.

| Top drawer performances by all 17 and wrong to single anyone out. Riddy's comments after the game were right on the money when he accepted MOM on behalf of all 17.
However there is a guy who perhaps deserves a mention - he is very tough, punches well above his weight and puts in a full shift every game. He doesn't receive too many accolades but in my view he is one of Paul's most astute signings - he is Matt Sarsfield. The first man on my team sheet every week is Tommy Goulden and since his injury I was very concerned just how much he would be missed. Matt has taken responsibility and upped his game to another level to compensate. He is a very fit man but was cramping up towards the end of the GF after he had given absolutely everything for the cause.

| Spot on there PTB. He was outstanding and deserved that try. Some players just do the job and give their all every game. Matt Sarsfield comes into that frame and has really developed this season. I'm sure he will get even better with FT training.

| Have to agree with everything said about Matt. The other thing about him is his pace and how quick he is off the mark.

| Thing being though is that Matt has not replaced Tommy G, Tommy plays on the right when Matt plays on the left, it's Kurt who's stepped up, Matt has been a revelation though I will agree that great guy as well.

Very gracious of him and probably fair, I've no idea how you'd pick a man of the match after that! Every player was outstanding in a game that wouldn't look out of place in Super league.
