If you watch the last four years major finals the winners have come out and smashed the oppositions with ruthless defence. The world cup was won in the first 20 minutes with the Aussies putting so much pressure on the Kiwis. I think it was Ian Millward who said that he was not bothered as much to what the opposition can do as to what we can stop them doing it.

Very even tomorrow imo, Hoppie and Spenner are big losses down the middle and what they take out of the opposition, Tommy G is simply a work horse that leaves a big defensive hole for others to fill
We will be up for it, as they will. With a good ref we will get a great game

Think if we're at our best and don't give the ball away too much we'll win by 16 or so, fairly comfortably but still a good game. If we have long spells without the ball though against a Fev team that will be really up for it then I think it'll be very close indeed.

The only way I can see Fev winning this is if the Leigh players show as much arrogance and think they only have to turn up to win as the fans think, and if they do I can see plenty of faces covered in egg on the exits at Headingley.
I think it will go to the wire and a late score either way will win it. Looking forward to this one !!

We're going to have to improve our defense and reduce our error and penalty counts from the last few games IMHO. Fev will be up for it, with a point to prove. I still think we'll edge it though.

Well its game day Morning , cant wait , personally I think it will be a very close hard game , I wouldn't want it any other way , I think Leigh will edge a win by around 4 points , Fev are no mugs , they have a very big physical Pack , as have we , and some decent backs , I think Riddy and Ryan are better players than Fevs Halves , our Hookers are better , as is our Subs bench .For me we do have a weakness , though im not going to state it on here , again just my opinion .

Those three are big losses. There seemed to be a gulf in class between Wilkes and Emmitt and the back up props last week, which Dewsbury used to get back into the game. Need to be smarter during those spells tonight, or else Fev will punish us.

surely no one can complain about the defensive effort last night though, Jamie and Wagger are still only 'babies' in the prop role and need the time to develop, both are still learning the 'prop craft'

17 Heroes out there last night , did the Town proud , as did all the voiciferous fans ,PR looked so chuffed ,everyone did his job and fully deserved the Win , ive so many happy memories of this season its been great , im a Proud Leyther today , cant wait for next season .
