17580.jpg First game was in 1967, and have been hooked since day 1. Now live in Vancouver, Canada but follow our team any way I can.

| That’s a strong looking squad from Leeds.
Good to see OB’s name on the Leyth list. I was worried he would be ruled out after the head knock.
I’d go Hanley for Briscoe. Pace and a youthful energy could see him nail down the spot. Briscoe is rock solid and a true professional but we need some veal pace outside of Hardaker, and Tom looks a little slower this year so far.

| May look a strong squad but I didn't think either Leeds or Catalans played particularly well in their recent match. I'm going for Leigh 20 Leeds 12.
Definitely give Hanley his chance. About time he was given a game.

Hi. SGPP, you can park foc at the stadium. It does get busy trying to get off though. Have a safe journey, and hope to have a good entertaining game, with hopefully a win to the Leopards.

| That's one of those matches that if you win, especially in the dying minutes, you don't concern yourself with the performance of the ref.
Shouldn't be losing a 16-0 lead at home.
Shouldn't not be able to score in a a whole 40 minutes, at home, playing towards the North Stand.
But for me, the injury to Lam could be the bigger result from this match

| Thought the sin binning of G.O.B. was incredibly harsh and was the turning point of the game.
It wasn`t even a penalty, so awarding a yellow card was incredulous.

Agreed, and Beaumont will be going into the next RFL meeting with all guns blazing with a fine attached.
Without ref bashing, Kendall was shocking tonight that 2nd half, but hey ho we move on.

| Gareth was a great link in attack his binning disrupted the team and then Lam's injury lead to another rejig
The proverbial game of two halves, once we'd been pinged the first 3 times and got used to Kendall's foibles we were in a roll for the rest of the first half.
Hanley was good, Halton and Amone, we went down the right quite a lot more, so it's then concerning in the second half that that was our weak point and probably a good spot by Smith in his talk at half time.
I'm more baffled by what counts as needing to be a head shot to get binned, a fortnight is a long time in rugby league

| Kendal referring ruined second half took us out of the game. Allowed Leeds to take our players out in the air and literally slap us in the face. So if you turn your back you can now take someone out in the air . And if you keep an open hand you can hit someone in the face.

I thought Halton had a nightmare in the second half, with his opposite number causing all sorts of problems. Not convinced he can do the full 80, and the lines he runs aren't great. He might be better suited to playing down the middle.
Given the stricter rules around the play the ball, I don't think Amone and Mulhern can be expected to do 65+ minutes every game, so Lam may have to reconsider his interchange policy. We need more minutes from Norman, Nakubuwei and Trout. Trout's should increase has he builds his fitness up from that long injury, don't know about the others. I'd bring Holmes in to play back row and move Halton inside to replace Nakubuwei, who's quota spot I'd be looking to free up.

| If Leigh are unable to stand square at the play the ball, why not use one marker? Less chance of getting pinged.

Don't think that is permitted either. Second marker has to be directly behind the first. They need to make more effort to get square, and if fatigue is an issue, Lam needs to reduce the minutes of some of the forwards.

"Player marking (c) One opponent may take up the position immediately opposite the tackled player."
Oddly the laws do not refer to a 2nd player being square.
