Press speculation that the band Scouting for Girls will be performing at our opening game vs Salford, based on hints dropped so far. Would be quite a big thing if true, and they're a decent band IMVHO.
Personally, I'm buzzing to get this new season underway with or without the extra entertainment, but Derek is making a big statement of intent,

| It's true, Elvis Costello isn't dead (and DB has been quoted on "record" as saying, "My Aim is True"icon_wink.gif. 
As Bongser is a bit of an old timer, he's been checking out The Girl Guide Movement (or whaddever) on Spotify. He therefore thinks he'll arrive 10 minutes before KO, sorry.

Haven't seen said Press Release, Elsie. Why would a club undo its own, costly marketing (albeit aimed at newer, less lived in faces than this one) by turning away an existing fan with either a ticket or readies in his paw?
Unless, of course, you mean that it's to be a sell out. Were that to happen, Bongser would be strangely delighted to be turned away and watch Leigh play in front of a full house from an accommodating nearby hostelry. |

I think the driver behind it was to get everyone or as many as possible in for pre match entertainment and showcasing a decent crowd on whilst the Sky cameras are rolling pre match . I very much doubt that entrance would not be permitted after 20 00 but it will add to the chaos outside people who are genuinely late clambering to get in |

Yep, turnstiles re-open at 8, likelihood many hundreds still looking to get in
What happens to those in the queue @7-30 who stand there for 15 mins due to a poor turnstile system - does it literally stop
Good luck to the club for making it more of an experience, personally I just want to see a game of rugby |
