Volunteers cleared the snow from the pitch this morning now clearing the terraces looks like it's on.

That will do nicely.....

I can only assume that the usual suspects have got frostbite in their fingers, which is preventing them from posting a sincere well done to the team for that gritty performance today. If they had lost, there would have been a lot of people posting on here with their two pennorth. Sad to say, there is very little action on here to applaud a much-improved performance. I don't care what team it is, even an NRL team would have struggled on that pitch in that weather, and to avoid conceding any tries was creditable. Who knows if this game will be the turning point in our season, or is it too late? Time will tell, but for now - well done lads!

With no real props we won at a tough place to visit, in atrocious conditions on a very heavy pitch. Seems the lads may be bonding in this adversity as prayed for - is this the coming together of the TEAM we had hoped for

I really hope so. Perhaps some of the youngsters, who were included for the first time, (Bailey, Dezaria and Gregson) and haven't been part of our disastrous start, gave us a lift?

By the way, Vai Vai and Mason may be a bit upset, not to be considered REAL PROPS!

It all seems to be building very slowly but you can see deffo improvement.

To stop Batley - at that ground and in that weather with that pitch - from scoring any tries is quite amazing really, esp' when you also consider our defence has been ridiculously poor so far to date and the confidence of the players was probably on the floor.
