Definitely full responsibility for poor decisions on three levels (Owner, Director, Coach). The best one is a contingency plan for the players to quickly exit IF they lost the MPG. Talk about focusing on what they didn't want to happen.

Have lessons been learned regarding handing out daft contracts to 'friends' or 'friends of friends' whose track records are unproven or patchy at best?

And what happened to the 'Power of Now'? Fine, build for the future IF the now is producing desired results. However, with the ultimate goal of bouncing straight back up to SL this year, 19 new players effectively dismissed that objective pretty fast.

Maybe back in the day. His views aren’t relevant in the modern era. Most people around Leigh view him as a bitter man.

Top bloke is Keith, was our plumber till he suffered his stroke a few years back. At least he can use a keyboard now, he couldn't do so for quite a while.
If you judge him on what he does type, maybe you think he's a moron, but when you meet him, he is anything but !

Keith Latham has forgotten more about RL than King Derek leader of All Leigh will ever know.
He's a top man and anyone who knows him will know he served Leigh with distinction when there was no "Sugar Daddy"
He got the players he had at his disposal playing as good as they could

Do you know enough people to include ‘most people’ in your obvious dislike of the man. I could say that most people in Leigh respect Keith for what he has put into the game in Leigh. Neither of us could prove our statements but I would guess that mine is more accurate than yours.

He may know more about RL than DB, but his comments give the impression of being driven by a personal agenda rather than any sort of balanced view.
