Who decided to take the 2 ?

That was the turning point that won Featherstone the game.
The Fev players had hands on hips and was knackered, a set of 6 I'm sure would either have taken even more juice out of the tank or resulted in a Leigh try as we had momentum.
Instead we went for a 4 point lead (bizarre).
Harrison was putting his hand up for 2 looking at the bench so suspect it was a joint (poor)decision.
One to learn from.

Didn't see the point, given the score at the time.

Could have strangled Fev at that moment. Might have understood if it took us 2 scores ahead.

Yeah we got the ball back but we're not confident and we're definitely better on opponent's try line right now. Goal line D is mess.

Giggled with delight when you took the two. That was when i knew we'd win.

It was an act of surrender.

Chuffed to bits

It was a ridiculous decision.

It was an Act of complete total stupidity, even in an act of surrender one considers the options available, trouble is this Leigh team are slow between the earholes as well as on the ground.

In a tight game where trys are not being scored at a regular rate it may have been the right decision. This was not that game, and they were always going to score at least another try or two. It’s decisions like that that we cannot now afford if we are to have any chance of top 4.
I like KP but we need a Tony Smith type and very quickly.

I could not believe what I was seeing, Featherstone were there on the ropes. To be fair some of our own players were bewildered at the decision.

Featherstone managed to get a whole load of Oxygen back in to their lungs at that point. Not to mention belief.

Unfathomable. It had no positive impact whatsoever. Ok, so we scored two points and, in theory got the ball back - but on our own line with the grave risk of making a mistake and handing over the initiative in our half!

And we had a couple of options earlier in the game where we decided to tap and the 2 would have been the more sensible option

Fev went for two, probably the fact they where tired. Not sure what our excuse was. As VL says those decisions are very costly. And as you quite rightly point out there was other options available at times.

You could understand the errors if it was a new coach in place. But these guys arn't new.
