Worthington was then jogging back to gather behind the posts when Soward came at him from behind and seemed to smack him in the back of the head.

Then both of them piled into one another with several punches thrown on the floor resulting in 2 red cards.

I didn't see anything to provoke that sort of attack from Soward, certainly hitting somebody from behind who is jogging away seemed crazy.

If London are hoping Soward is going to lead them to Super League I feel they are going to be very disappointed when the disciplinary decisions come out.

Wouldn't be surprised for him to miss the next 3 matches.

Greg didn't hold back in retaliation either but Lee Smith or Willie Tonga can fill in for him no bother. Soward is London's talisman and he just completely lost the plot.

Even if they both get equal punishment, which would seem unlikely considering Soward started it with an attack from behind, it will be a far far bigger blow to the Broncos than to us.

If they have given silly money to get Soward in for these 7 matches then it could turn out to be a very poor investment. They have lost match 1 and he looks likely to miss the next 2 or 3 due to suspension IMO.

Soward will attempt the Wigan approach and claim there were mitigating factors.

I agree he will pick up a ban, Soward started it with a cheap shot to the back of the head but Worthington seemed to batter the little Aussie prick after that.

Expect both to miss 2 or 3 matches.

To be honest I would prefer Lee Smith or Willie Tonga at centre anyway so if he gets a ban he gets a ban. At least he stuck up for himself... and won!

Worthington is good but easily replaceable, not sure London can say the same about Jamie Soward...

I am hoping that this is a blip, one thing we can't afford in the 8's is poor discipline, no matter the provacation. Liles been said london will lose the more influential player. I'm more bothered about the possible injuries to higson/fui.

Greg was fuming when he was going down the tunnel and looking for Soward. A bit cowardly striking from behind if you ask me the RFL should punish him heavily for it. But it will be his first offence and EGP will be used. I don't know if it still available to Greg. I don't know what happened before but the official who was close saw nothing as he would have been on the field with his flag, but that means naff all.

Looking at the video footage of the incident I would say that sending off will be sufficient. There is no malice in Greg's tackle he was committed Imo . Soward had no right to go after Greg and tackle him from behind either , a few punches thrown but that's about it .

When would the hearings be? Are they a week delayed like in regular round, or brought forward with SL clubs?

My concern there is Acton.He shouldn't be anywhere near it.

.....or the team for the rest if the 8's! Complete liability all game. We need to ship him out to Torronto at the end of the season. Hasn't got the ability to change his ways.
