Thinking of coming up next Saturday but the last train is 20.26 from Warrington, if I ordered a cab from outside the ground straight after the game would I make it or is it just too tight , I done this route after the semi at yours a few years back but cant remember how long it took and I did have a bit more time to play with then. Think my main concern is getting out of the area by the ground with all the traffic. Thanks

If you can't get from the LSV to Warrington in just under 4 hours I would be very very surprised as it would only take about 25/30 minutes to the station in Warrington

The issue you have is where you order the taxi to pick you up from , if they drive onto the LSV complex they could easily end up trapped in traffic , Etherstone street on the other side of the LSV would get you away from the ground quicker

Are you looking at a taxi from Warrington or Leigh ? , I'd suggest Leigh and you explain your situation

Was thinking ordering a cab from the hotel as that was what I done last time but as you say I'm just concerned about getting out from there with the traffic , I suppose the best bet is to order it for 7.30 and just have to miss the last few minutes of the game.

Order taxi from Leigh taxi company and have the collection point as Robin Hood pub, this will be next to the fire station on your right heading away from the ground towards the east lancs rd a580, 30 mins is plenty if on time to bank quay so at 7.50 you be fine

Otherwise order the cab to pull up & turn around at the entrance to the LSV site on the bypass *so just off the bypass itself* cabbies don't play by the same rules as Joe Public so they will more than likely do it.

Anyway, stay over in the Leigh Hilton & Spa .... it's EXOTIC & Foreign.

When did a Hilton open at the LSV? Must have missed that one.
