| I thought Jamie played well when he came off the bench, ran it in hard, came off his line well in defence, but most of all his discipline has improved since last year. Bussey was targeting him with lots of verbals throughout the game and to his credit Jamie didn't react. Well done lad.

| Breirley was encouraging yes but he's not a cheer leader! He did nothing ball in hand today he needs to attack the line! I know it's hard with rangi in the team but he's needs to assert himself more! Acton by a mile today all the attributes to be a top class prop discipline always let him down but he was superb today

His performance was too patchy to be man of the match, putting him before Acton and a few others suggests you are biased.

| Ryan came on well in the 2nd half.
Acton clearly MoM.
Though Hansen ran him close but then I feel he'll always be up there.
Hock and Rangi too and the 2 centres.

| Don't think Acton was mom, but based on today he seems to be maturing based on previous seasons. In the past he has played as if he was so pumped up he couldn't control himself - kept on top of himself today, possibly earned himself a slot for next week.
MoM was Smith for me today, different player to McNally but absolutely solid as a FB and returns the ball well.

| Smith was quality today along with Whiting, Brierley did nothing other than try and look interested by throwing his arms about getting the crowd going. How many times did we miss touch today?
Thought Fui Fui had a great spell late on in the second half as well.

| Acton was my MoM. He always plays on the very edge between controlled aggression and absolute lunatic and today got it spot on. Turned the match with some brutal defence, big runs and a crucial try. Stayed the right side of the line and showed the maturity he maybe lacked last season. No penalties and absolutely rattled the London forwards at a key point in the game.
Well done to our resident cockney, saved his best performance for against his home town club.
Only 23 too so plenty to come from Jamie!

Agree there, though Ryan created very little as a half back today. Yes he possibly did gee up the team to get the win & may have been responsible for it but they're professional RL players! They shouldn't need geeing up to go get the win, there should be 13 people doing that. Not sure about MOM, Acton did well, thought Emitt stood out as did Chase, difficult decision.

You gonna blame that on Brierley too (it was Smith I think)? IMO Brierley did look interested.

| Nobody's said he wasn't interested! Just he needs to do more and stop deferring to rangi! Ryan is a class player don't get me wrong he just needs to take more responsibility and attack the line like the Ryan of old

Sorry Oggy, but the posters statement "Brierley did nothing other than try and look interested" says different. I was simply replying to what I interpreted that to mean.

| I can understand your thinking! I do think Ryan has copped some unfair flak! He's a damn good rugby player and he's young if the biggest team in the country come in and are interested your head gets turned. You can't fault he's passion just want him to take the game on and start to show the Ryan of old!

| He's a great support player and I see him as a full back not a 7, yesterday we had very little of the ball due to the ref mainly so may be I am being a little harsh based on yesterday's performance, I just think he's been hyped up and Very rarely takes the game by the scruff . We missed Ridyards organisation yesterday and Chase was more effective than Ryan. If he does get his move there's no way it will be to play 7
