For mine, was it a knock on, was it a forward pass, did he get it down, either way.
Widnes were poor but Salford were impressive, discipline was very good.

| Excellent kicking game from Salford, think they only knocked on once also.....very impressive. Not taking anything away from Salford's performance at all, but Widnes (with a few players missing) offered nothing, they were very poor. One Salford player I was really impressed with, was Josh Griffin....takes some stopping....big & quick ! Hope Salford don't play as well against us !  |

the difference between Leigh v super league ...
is only the word super league...
we play as good rugby, if not better.

but its not consistent. ..

we win on Sunday. ...v haven
its another record set.....
The thing that will get us through the Salford game is our team spirit.
nothing like it in super duper league....

Some poor teams in SL this season, Widnes had nothing in the middle. Salford won the ruck every time, the Widnes tackling technique was shocking - I have heard a different technique is needed on their artificial pitch is that why they are so poor away. Playing an extra prop instead of a half back was a masterstroke by Betts - you cant win games without halves Den owd chap

I didn't see anything in that game that worried me. Salford are no easy beats, they're well organised and have some potent attacking threats.
But I think we're just as organised and have more attacking threats and squad depth.

I know matey and been honest we made Salford better than they are to be honest. Dont get me wrong they played quite well to be fair, but not as good as Sky made out. Only Jon Wells commented how poor we were, and probably be one of of our worse performances of the season. Praying we get some bodies back soon, and rather have the bad injuries now than at the end of the season. |
