It's not the M.E.N.'s fault that they are being fed juicy quotes to print by the subject of the speculation! All we can hope for is that he continues to do his best while he is wearing a Leigh shirt and we keep him until we have a top 2 finish. Hopefully we can replace him with a Leigh lad who has his heart set on playing for Leigh.

He would be foolish to go to Salford the club Ryan in my opinion needs at least another few years before he reaches a level where he would be a outstanding SL player he should follow Chris Hills journey to the top flight Hilly is a perfect role model

He no longer states he has signed a 2 year contract. He now states he will weigh up his options at the end of the season. I reckon it is odds on he is gone at the end of the season.

Who knows? This lad is desperate to play SL. It's a shame as he could get there with Leigh if he honoured his 2 years. Although it's a short time in he game and if a big team comes knocking he's likely to go. Still from Leigh's point of view we need a bidding war and some big money for him!

You can't question his commitment while wearing the shirt. If he goes at the end of the season, then so be it. Bradford get their points back and we could be playing Salford next year.

All the brierley 'hype' is exactly that - Hype.
He would be completely out of his depth in SL as a half back. He was anonymous the entire game if there ever was a 'queue' of clubs eyeing him up, that queue would have diminished considerably with what he offered tonight, even against a weakened Leeds side who were way off the level they were playing at.
its easy to stand out in a team dominating the championship winning by 50 most weeks, but if he was playing for a whitehaven or a keighley he would be as anonymous as he was tonight week in week out.
there were many more players in your side that are more equipped to step up to SL than brierley.
i think he will be seeing out his contract at Leigh.
as for the game your team did you proud and were a credit to your club, and the championship and your fans contributed to a great atmosphere.

Yes Brierley was quiet tonight, it's in his new contract not to impress to much when we play SL teams. The one and only goal for Leigh this year is to finish 1st or 2nd. To do it because of a super star will diminish the efforts of the whole team....................................................Yes Ryan is good, but the team is better still

I think it's time that Paul Rowley pulls the plug on Ryan being interviewed as its not fair on him as he gets asked all the time about other clubs interests in him.
Also not fair on Paul and the rest of the team
Ryan can help too by not mentioning Salford every time he's interviewed about it .
It's time this matter was dropped till the end of the season at least
