Just getting a bit sick of all the back stabbing back slapping and bitchy comments it really make me wonder why I even bother anymore.

Agreed. I think I might have upset you with one of my previous replies re pimply youths. It wasn't meant to be a dig but could have been interpreted as such. Its always good to keep in mind each others feelings and not bite someone's head off if they get something slightly wrong or misword something. As you say, we are all people who love Leigh and there are too few of those as it is!

There is nothing much wrong with the forum, nothing recently has broken any rules. A couple of things need tidying up; there is far too much repetitive back slapping and a small minority need to be able to take as well as give out criticism.
It would be very boring if everyone agreed with everything that is posted.

Lynda, I say this is the best possible spirit, but stop taking life so seriously and stop taking everything to heart, even stuff that isn't aimed at you. And I say that as someone who hasn't been posting much recently and certainly hasn't been involved in any of the threads that seem to have caused any recent disputes. We all want our club to progress, but let's just try and have a laugh at the same time?

Couldn't agree anymore with this post if I tried, it just seems half of the threads are ending in petty name calling or cryptic cheap shots, people have to lighten up, we're just fans of a rugby club, nothing more and nothing less. Yes, some of us raise a few quid throughout the season, some of us dont go to games some go home and away, most of us spend a fortune supporting Leigh throughout the season.

I think sometimes we just have to read our messages back before we submit them and think how they might be perceived to other people, I'm the first to admit I just like winding people up from time to time, normally people I know, but its just harmless banter most of the time. When I'm reading posts from some users it's like reading things from a old school headmaster, theres no need for any it, like I say, we aren't running the club (most of us anyway) we're just fans, is logging in to the site and having a slanging match with somebody you dont know, really worth getting ill for?

Well, as someone in 2008 who was, for a good while the most prolific poster on the whole RLFANS site, even more than Oldham Rhino and Pariah, there are two main reasons I lurk, but cant be bothered anymore....

To me, 49 per cent of posters on this site are in their own little "clique"
