Just got back from Fev where we were forced to sit in the stand because of the safety certificate or something. Bull. Last time I'm going to Fev. Awful place.

First time I've ever sat along the side, I thought it was a lot better, the view was superb, and close to the action!

My point is why did they feel the need to go round the ground 20 minutes before kick off rounding up anyone wearing a leigh shirt and making them go and sit in the stand. It's pretty poor organisation and to be honest a bit insulting.

Think yourself lucky they did,nt round you up and throw you down a disused mineshaft scary place Fev reminds me of Royston Vasey

Far better view and atmosphere in that stand. However, if they're going to try and segregate the crowd then they need to organise it FAR better than today. We'd noticed pre match that the stewards were approaching anyone behind the sticks in a Leigh shirt, yet you have to go back there if you want any food or drink?!

Must admit I thought it was a bit odd seeing the Leigh lot being moved on into the stand.

Having a designated area for away fans at the bigger games is a good idea, but you lot really needed to know about it before you got to the game. You should have had your own turnstiles and been directed to the stand from there.

The food and drink thing is a bit awkward at the moment, with only one end of the ground open.

Next year should see a big improvement, that stand being built to the side of the existing structure will be about the perfect size to be the "away" area. It will have it's own bogs and food outlets.

I sat in the stand 1st half and behind the sticks in the 2nd half........Stupids saw I had a Leigh shirt on and didnt say owt to me about moving - I didnt have any problems with them and had a chat with 1 of them.....thought they were ok.

I thought the stewards were told to do what they did and they were all very decent with everyone before during and after the match.

That is all you want a steward to do, respect the fans and get respect back (from most people).

I really do think stadium will struggle with an away following bigger than Leigh's today. It currently does not seem equipped to handle a big gate and the organisation was odd to say the least.

From the off the stewards seemed surprised to see 3 coaches turn up at the official car park together and there was quite a wait whilst each one in turn had to be directed onto the car park , turned round and passengers disembarked whilst the access road was blocked for the duration.

Inside at the rear of the stand there was the farcical situation of a line of stewards 'segregating' the two sets of supporters whilst the sole toilets and bar facilities were found further on within the Featherstone controlled area. Bizzare to say the least.

There were no such problems for the Featherstone players on the pitch though it has to be said.

The view from that stand is far superior. However i had to move nearer the front in 2nd half, due to some, no alot of foul and abusive language from leigh fans, is there any excuse for this sort of behaviour, or need, just idiots and unfortunately ours.

There will be one more home game for Fev this season, against Leigh or Batley, and by the start of next season all being well the new stands will be ready and the stadium capacity will be 9k+.

That new stand looks like it will be good when it's finished and I think the pitch is also being extended as well isn't it?
