The Watcher had a posting removed & no explanation was given to him why it was censored, perhaps it was slightly over enthusiastic, however that does not alter the fact that Thatcherism had a terrible very long lasting effect on so many people in the RL heartlands & we cannot be expexted to ignore her passing. You must be careful with your criticism of our ladies who are moderators. First of all it is against the AUP and tbh it might not be either of them.

Having said I must admit I agree with you.

There are many politicians who I cannot stand and strongly disagree with. Take for example that vile terrorist sympathiser George Galloway who was yesterday taking about"trampling the dirt". But would I wish death on him, or celebrate his passing when it comes? No. Quite disgusting that anyone would talk in such a distasteful manner.

People aren't generally directly and personally affected by the actions of a George Galloway - however, many people in the north of England and parts of Wales will argue that Thatcher destroyed the lives and communities of many. The fact that she was more latterly a frail senile old woman won't change the distain of the people whose lives she effected in the 80's.

This woman was not a friend of the people of the north,and set out to deliberately destroy the mining communities. I totally despise her.My Auntie always the best place for her to be buried was down the Parsonage.

Being a member of the GMB Union, i was always an opponent of all her policies , but i have never celebrated anyones Death , its not right , there have been many Politicians worse than her ,and i vow never to air my views on Religion or Politics on here .
