He waffles about stu littler getting booed?????? whats that got to do with tieing up with wigan?

Sport england what as that got to do with us having to sign up with wigan

So according to him by signing up with wigan we are going to save the future of rugby league in this country because we will be providing players for all over the country,again what as this got to do with us tieing up with wigan

He talks of rowley and his whiteboard,if we have a clear plan why tie up with wigan?

If dave did not keep bringing him back to the point of feeder club he would have waffled off into the sunset ignoring the reason why he is being interview

He keeps saying he wants them playing for leigh in super league,how? just by judging on here you have upset a lot of people,no money no crowd

Then he says we are the only championship club who as a clear passage from any age up,so again why are we teaming up with wigan

So again trev why are we teaming up with wigan

And you trev are saying we should have no rivalry,you are talking garbage lad

Best he says we don't need to play the players they will not be holding other lads back,so again why tie up with wigan if you do not need the players?

That's what i've done, and I know Trevor only means well for the club and I trust him to do the best thing for the club.

At the end of the day the better players in any area go to the better positioned club, and always have done.

Agreed and therefore what I don’t understand is why will this partnership ensure if the next Stuart Littler, doesn’t make the grade at Wigan what makes anyone (Trevor, Wane, Rowley,) think they would automatically choose Leigh and not Salford?

Because we’ve worked with them? Well yeah Ryan’s come to us, but didn’t we work with Emmitt he’s not signed for us but left his parent club.

This is a career to them, they will always go to were the money is, I can’t see anything in this Partnership which will change that.

Which is why I said this deal must have been done for a reason that benefits us, even if the reason is financial.

I really think people need to get away from the Wigan prejudices, we are not rivals to Wigan. Leigh fans care more about hating Wigan than loving Leigh.

If this partnership had been set up with St.Helens or Warrington I think far less people would doubt it.

I was hoping that given the wave of dismay throughout our ever declining fan base at this official arrangement, there would of at the very least been a fans forum called so the fans can raise the questions collectively that [iwe [/iwould like answering rather than what Trevor assumes but thanks to him for the insight about Stuart Littler.

I do class (or always classed) myself as a loyal Leigh supporter but I am now going to sit back for a while and see what materialises from the arrangement. That may or may not involve me attending on Easter Monday as I am yet to decide.

I have been quite an outspoken critic of championship clubs signing up to official partnerships, both on here and within the group I attend matches with so it pains me to see us doing likewise. To embrace it would be rather hypocritical but regardless I am still sceptical of the arrangement given all but a handful of Wigan's squad are aged 23 or under anyway.

What ever happens I do not want the club to suffer financially so I have already given Lynda an additional LISA cheque for the cost of admission for both Good Friday and Easter Monday.

We have had three players from Wigan playing in our u20's how many have noticed? it is at this level where most of the partnership will be carried out, tough the way things are going we may well need dual contract next season as it would seem the people of Leigh wont turn out to watch their town team Wigan players or no (we actually had more last season than we have had this in the first team so why the histrionics). www.therfl.co.uk/the-rfl/rules/i ... section=C1 explain the DR system and appears to be the new rules for this season (scrioll down to dual contracts). most clubs certainly are NOT carrying out the system as it was intended to be that is very clear but then again the RFL should have perhaps gone into more details instead of relying on clubs acting to the spirit of the system. As for the questions get along to the next fans forum or e mail them to Trevor or are you really that scared of loosing your anonymity? or do you really care as you have written elsewhere that you have not been very often recently.

All three on those clubs are huge rivals of Leigh Centurions, Wigan being the biggest, we are not in competition with a single Championship Club
