Has anyone got the progress of Coyle, Aspinwall & Higson? I noticed yesterday Briscoe wearing what seemed a hand cast this explains why Thornley was bought in does anyone know if it is a bad break or not?

Coyle was out for 6 to 8 weeks orginally, so he shouldn't be far off, the journal said Higson was fit now and I didn't know Briscoe was injured.
We could give all these a run in if fit in the East Leeds game, .maybe.

Was told he broke a bone in his hand in the Sheffield game.

Having watched the u20s a few times now,i'd have no problem throwing the odd one or two into a game if the first team had short term injuries

Higson will probably have to prove his fitness in an u20's game as on current form there is no place for him he is fourth choice centre.

well I think he could still be used as he can play wing, centre or second row.

All of which are covered by players in form, who do you drop to include him? It is a good situation to be in and when all are fit Rowls has a (good) problem on whom to pick.

I am a big fan of AJ's so hope he plays in the under 20's on Wednesday either starting or on the bench.

Also glad that Coyle is almost ready to come back and naturally hope for speedy recoveries for both Aspinwall and Briscoe.

Can't see Briscoe being out too long he is one of the toughest players I have seen especially at his age.

I don't think Rowley signed a injured Higson as a backup if he can get back to his old form then someone will be making way eventually IMO

Personally I don’t see Higson as anything more than back up.

The Journal missed out an important word from what our Dave sent in, the word SOON as in Higson is fit - SOON so you are all getting lathered up about nothing.

He ll be fit soon like you say and he'll no doubt get his chance, as for when that is, its up to Paul.

Not sure about that Fred - he was being rather 'wimpish' at Dewsbury, wearing a cast on his broken hand! I must admit I was forced to do the same a couple of years back, but I asked for a red & white one, not a nondescript neutral coloured one like Craig did - obviously in an attempt to hide it!
