I assume he's on a FT contract at Cas - will he be able / willing to step down to a (probably quite rubbish) part time contract at Leigh?

I think that Cas not renewing Ryans contract makes him less likely to be at Leigh next season, though I hope I'm wrong.

I don't see how we can have Kes, McNally and Pownall in a squad with Beswick, Moore and Ridyard covering halves. I expected McNally to be off to Haven, so Kes/Pownall to cover FB was an option. Kes has great abilities but he is not a ball player so where do we plan to play him, surely bench will do him no good.

At the recent Forum, Ryan stated that he hoped to sign for Leigh next season. He also said there were one or two obstacles to overcome, but he was hopeful of signing.

Snap him up if possible I say

I am not saying I don't want him but he is a FB for me and we have great cover there. So rather than play 3 FB's in a team I would rather sign a grunt or a centre.

Ryan is a crowd pleaser and he is exciting to watch.

He lifts the crowd whenever he comes on and would be a cost effective signing and would give us cover and options.

I think his best position is fullback too Mo.

Now if we could get another 200 LISA members we would be untouchable in the Championship and would be in with a chance for the Challenge Cup .

Yes but there is always a chance of injuries as we have found out so , Ryan would be a great addition to the squad and hopefully PR will want him to sign if we have the money to do so .

I Reckon Leigh could offer him a better contract than Castleford,he wasn't full time there.
