Something struck me last night of the number of players who have had two or more different spells with Leigh - Maden, Bibey and Duffy (several times over with Bibey and Duffy) spring to mind from those who have played this season, along with obviously Timmy Street, Paul Rowley, Stuart Donlan and Simon Baldwin from years gone by.

I know the likes of Rowley, Donlan and Baldwin all left to try their hand at playing in the top flight, but I always find it interesting that we seem to re-sign so many players. Anyone think of any others?

I would think there are quite a few , the main one being John Woods .

Sean Richardson has to be one of the most bizzare ones. Although for some reason a victory at Whitehaven in 2007/2008? stands out in my mind, where he in particular and indeed the rest of the team had a blinder.

Kevin Henderson is, I suppose, the most recent example and if we are counting DCs , then Steve Nash. Andy Thornley has of course recently returned. David Alstead , Leroy Rivett and Heath Cruckshank are other fairly recent examples. Didn't Radney Bowker, Danny Halliwell and even Simon Knox have separate spells with Leigh.

Sean Richardson is a great shout. I'd fully intended to include Henderson in my original post and forgot, d'oh. Knox played in 2001 and 2004 if memory serves me right so another to add to the list.

Bowker definitely had two spells, not sure about Halliwell though?

Danny played for us again in 2007 after a brief spell in SL for Salford.

Ian potter rejoined us in a joint deal with Brian Case after our record breaking promotion season think in the summer of 86 or 87?
