Personally I think its a good move, PR would have learned at great deal from Basil, but deep
down he must feel a little let down knowing he was only third choice at least.

He might have been third choice at the time but it's obvious he became no 1 choice once the directors and fans all saw what he could do and how well he brought the team together.

Too much history, and apart from his playing career, not a lot of it good.

I've just gone right off him. Coming from Cotton St aswell. Turn coat. Have to say when I was playing and courting I used to sit with my girlfriends mum and dad in the Miners and his dad sat on the next table. He was lovely.
