Dont forget folks we are not out of the woods yet, the debts have to cleared off and the players have taken pay cuts to sign for us.
However we all need to do our bit too and keep on supporting the team and the club, we need the fans more then ever, to back and commit to LISA, TOUCHDOWN CLUB, LOTTERY or even just by attending all the games that we can get to, supporting events the club put on. Money will still be tight all season, I wouldn't want another scenrio like last September to happen again and hit us at the business end of the season.
Its important this is remembered, before we get too excited by things on the pitch, for the happenings on the pitch to stay good, we all need to pull together.

We've taken £200k + off costs, that equates to close to our entire gate income from last year and we have a more balanced team this year imo.

Lets get excited otherwise lets not bother. Lets get very excited because thats why folk will come to watch and sponsor.

Well if them figures are true I'm not surprised we went T!TS up.

And well done to the current board if they have stuck to principle of only paying out what we plan to bring in.

For me, we have a better all round team than we had last season - certainly a lot of options available (i.e.people who can play in a variety of positions)

I must have misunderstood Lynda's post. I thought she was saying that we shouldn't get complacent, as a result of the excellence we have seen on the pitch. I thought she said that we mustn't sit back and think everything is now rosey. I thought she said that we must keep on supporting the fund raising activities/organisations.

Remember, if this team was to win everything, we will have blown our wage budget for 2012. We must all keep working hard at it, to avoid another September 2011 catastrophe.

Alan I think you understand what I meant was no matter how good things are on the pitch if we fail financially then come Sept it could all implode again, we have to help in anyway we can to try and stop that happening. Anyone who thinks it cant happen is being silly.

Completley disagree with this. I feel we should get excited because it's been an incredible pre season and we've got ourselves a good looking squad together. Putting a downer on things isnt helping anybody.. Like the previous post we have made so much money in losing Millward Hill Paul etc. So we should be ok!
