Has anyone picked their free game yet { Touchdown club } as I haven't heard anything was thinking about ringing the club .

I went to the ticket office on tuesday got my fax ticket and asked (as a touchdown club member) if i could have the wigan ticket as my free one.A.P.said they were not sure how the system worked but he would find out.so i havent got my free ticket yet

Well hope they sort it soon only got these friendlies to choose from

I've emailed this very question, to the Touchdown Club, earlier this afternoon. No reply yet, but I'll post as soon as I get one.

This question was asked last night, Trevor's on the case and I think they were looking at releasing a statement.

Many thanks for your e-mail.

We are aware that the free tickets need to be issued.

We will be checking the bank over the next couple of days, after which we will be able to see that all the membership payments are active. Then we can issue the chosen tickets to members.

Please bear with us, I can assure you everyone will be contacted early next week.

Has anyone heard anything yet from the touchdown club regarding this, i made my 1st payment in dec and was hoping to pick this sundays game as my free friendly ?? Many thanks in advance.. Wayne.

Same with me. I was told, in writing, that it would be sorted by the beginning of this week. I'll ask the question again, but time is running out for Sunday's game.

To maintain any form of credibility, I'm afraid that the TD Club organisers need to live up to commitments. After all, the free ticket was one of the few 'perks' of putting extra money into the club.

Was told there will be an announcement at the fans forum tonight.

All the Touchdown Club organisers are engaged in full time jobs and are endeavouring to make sure that things run as smoothly as they can bearing in mind this is a brand new venture which has never been tried before. We are grateful for the patience of the members who have joined to date and are trying to move things forward as quickly as we possibly can.

We are open to criticism if we don't get things right, however it isn't through lack of effort. The way that fans have got behind the club through this difficult period has been fantastic and the need for everybody to continue to pull together remains a priority. Thus as a group doing our best to make the Touchdown Club concept work we really don't need our credibility being questioned by a member of the PSG with considerably more time available than ourselves as this represents a cheap shot - nobody involved in the Touchdown Club is looking for any recognition for what we are doing and we are all paying exactly the same as any other member in the package we have chosen to purchase individually.

With this in mind members who qualify for the free ticket will be able to collect from the ticket office from Thursday pm. We need to liaise with Andy Parkinson to provide him with a voucher for each member entitled to a ticket and have them sign the voucher as ticket collected and leave it with Andy for collection by one of the organisers. At a later date we will operate the same system for the issue of season tickets.

I don't think Alan was having a go. The lack of communication is the issue here, which is an age old problem with everything associated with the club (or rather perceived lack of communication). Surely a quick e-mail to Andy Parky to ask him to put something up on the website stating the above earlier in the week would have been better. I am sure the Touchdown Club hasn't just sorted this out in the last 20mins in response to this posting?

Rest assured we fully understand the importance of effective communication and the need to engage with fans as much as possible. The solution we have put forward whilst not ideal is the best available option in the circumstances. Simply by sending Andy an e-mail asking him to post direct onto the website does not solve the issue of making sure the ticket office staff have the vouchers to redeem against and understand the required process for their redemption - by Thursday pm however this will all be in place.

The Touchdown Club will not publish any information until we are 100% sure we can deliver what we say we are going to do. Yes this may be relatively short notice for the Halifax game, however the free friendly as advertised in our promotional literature will be delivered as promised and once again we would like to thank all members for their patience.

Well I have already bought my ticket for the Halifax game so will now use the voucher for the Wigan match .
