| I went to the Leigh College this morning , to pick my Daughter up , and i spotted Mr Beswick , at the LSV  I dont know the guy he shook hands with , but they then went inside the LSV  you never know . |

| As far as i know my friend Varks , still hasnt sorted out a New club for nexr season Lee Doran offered him a place at Haven , but he turned it down because of the Travelling,the lad is looking very fit to might be worth having a look .I heard Greg Macnallys name mentioned as well today , but that could just be another rumour. |

Harrison wanted to run with just Penkywicz as hooker and he wanted a bigger pack and Beswick is not a big lad. I know a few of the players like Miles Greenwood and Steve Bannister didnt want to pay for less so refused the deal offered them-maybe Bob was similar. Greenwood I believe is concentrating on teaching and Bannister has signed for Avignon in the French Elite. There are still plenty of good players around Leigh dont need to panic or offer silly money.
