A few people on Twitter/Facebook etc are asking about a PayPal account to make donations. Is this feasible? Is there anybody to manage it?

Would definitely be worth doing as it's so easy for people to donate once reading the news stories as mentioned in another thread where it can be tagged on the end of press releases, Twitter, RLFans etc

Seems as good a place to start as any.

Easy to donate, and it doesn't involve much effort on peoples part i.e sponsored walks, bike rides etc. Plus, as has been mentioned, it can quickly be spread around the RL world with a link to donate.

Send donations on paypal as a gift then no paypal costs are occured..

Paypal would charge when you set up a fundraiser account. About 2.50 for every 100 quid thnk. But it's a great idea. Stops all the cheque payments and posting

I have set 1 up. the word just needs spreading and people need to retweet. Add me on Facebook too

But its not coherent. Money I think needs to go direct to the bank of the club now, and I think this email thing could be done today and the email address put everywhere.
Going off this thread its only the paypal account the club needs to set up, as the rest is there.

Just answer this if the club set it up dont they have to pay tax on contribution s where as if its LISA a Charity they dont?
