Just over 2000 for a team playing like that! Does the town deserve the effort that Arthur has put in assembling a coaching staff and team of this quality. No wonder he bailed out. Let's hope the new consortium has someone in their ranks who can break through the apathy of the town and attract new fans as well as old.

Completely agree. I know it's not always a fair comparison, but we were only 900 away from matching Saints' crowd today and I'm sure it's even closer when you discount the away support!

Was going to post about the size of the crowd but Fuzzball would have been the main attraction today even if everyone thought that we would score as many as we did. What I thought was even poorer was the atmosphere especially from the north stand. I know the main instigator was in the west stand but the north was quiet today.

I think the North stand were a bit intimidated by the massive Hunslet presence

I dont mind saying I didnt go. A number of birthdays in May including my own and we've three home games in a row at beginning of June so intending to do those.

Unfortunately money only goes so far so I decided to sacfrifice this game for others.

1300 at Barrow the other night 1300 at Fev v Fax last week, think just over 2000 with 15 well oiled Hunslet fans was good for todays fixture

Nice to hear some vocal away fans for a change. Thought the atmosphere sounded ok once people seemed to wake up in the second half. Certainly better than an equivalent game at Hilton Park, I'd say.

On another thread I mentioned last season we would have not got 1600 for this game. I know a good few who went to Bolton today as it was their last game this season.

A crowd of 2000+ is very respectable in my eyes.

Went to the reebok today as well as 3 other leigh season ticket holders. Great crowd considering we are playing for ticking boxes as a opposed promotion.

No disrespect - but that is a good crowd considering the opposition. Would have bet on around 1500 TBH.

And no I didn't go, as a season ticket holder for numerous years I am picking and choosing my games this seasons.
Apathy on my part - probably - but it looks to me like the crowds are growing, and the club deserves a lot of credit for what it is doing.
