Yes it absolutely fits the crime ,when I first heard about it yesterday I thought maybe a trifle harsh for a bit of a joke about the girl in question not knowing about off side . We`ve heard the joke a hundred times before no big deal .But when I watched and listened to the whole of the tapes it made me rather sick to the stomach to be honest.If I was the parents of the young girl who must have worked her socks off to get where she has just to be degraded in that fashion I find it quite apalling. Methinks it was probably the women who work on the programme who got fed up of his boarish ways and "accidently " left the mic`s on.Probably fed up of being ignored when they kept complaining about his behaviour most likely.I think he will not likely get another job on tv at a million pound a year ever he will now have to resort to being interviewd on various shows , writing a book , taking part in celebrity wife swap and ending up in next years jungle with Ant & Dec to make his living. That will be if he is lucky.

I read earlier in the week that Andy has a legal case against his phone being tapped (think it was against a News Corp paper) so that won't possibly won't have helped his case if you look at who employs(ed) him .
He then has a 'sexist comment' to a collegue leaked (some 4 weeks after the event) following comments he made off air about a female official (wonder how many times have we heard the mikes left on in all the years of them covering football ?)

I suppose its all just coincidence that his alledged private thoughts and opinons have come into the public domain now

Just worries me that they have set a precedent here and somebody people actually like might be the next affected. Seems like a very swift knee-jerk reaction - perhaps they wanted to get rid and this was their opportunity.
