Me and my mate were chatting in the pub last night, and talking about how different things are to this time last year. Last year we were relegated, we thought the end was nigh, and that all hope was lost.

This year, ok the season petered out somewhat, but everythings alot more positive, season tickets are cheaper than last year, the club's got events in the close season to keep our attention, Basil aint going anywhere, and Arthur Thomas is sticking by us (although he's asking for help from others).

Seeing what's going on with Blackpool and Whitehaven, we've alot to be thankful for.

I'll certainly be doing a bit of sponsorship where I can this season. I hope that Arthur gets the help he truly deserves, and we can make this club great again.

I agree with your points but they way to get people to buy season tickets is to get some players signed up. Admittedly it's early days yet but we will need to move quickly to get the best that are available for sure.

In addition I think the offer of season tickets up to the end of November is not long enough. That needs to be extended to New Year 2011 for me. It's still a lot of money to people at the moment and many won't make a decision until they know who we are signing (me included).

i'm sure theres a lot of talking going on behind the scenes, better to get everything sorted than to speak to soon and another club nip in for them eh? its happened before

i would presume the club will be looking at ticket sales early doors, if we have an increased amount on last year then we have been sucessful with the marketing. i do think it will be extended till christmas.

does anybody now a figure on how many we sold in the last few years?

I would sooner watch a team half full of Leythers or Local talent, than a team packed full of Nomads and has beens.
Surely every agrees with this?
A young team can grow together, and we all know this area is rife of talent, and it is about time our Club tapped into it, like it is doing.

Well if £110 for the season and two months to get them is not incentive to go and buy then i dont know what is and if you cant then you can do it over instalments of £20 a month im sorry no excuses this time round i cant see how the club could do any more

If things had happened the other way around ie started off badly then came roaring through for the last 9 games to finish 3rd, then i'n positive everybody would have been as pleased as punch, even getting knocked out of the NRC and play offs would not have hurt so much .I reckon the monthly payment scheme is great too and applaud the club but i also think that a family ST would be a good idea too ,especially paying monthly

In an ideal world you'd want a team of Leythers but I don't care where they come from as long as they give 100%, you can't ask for more than that.
