| Pace was the only thing that beat us yesterday,Barrow had 2 wingers 15 yards faster than ours, same old story, ive said before never knock a team who puts effort in,and i felt ALL ourDCs,tried hard,Blythe was my man of the match, never gave up,ran well,Mitchell deserved his try,McCarthy, played well,i wish Magraff, was bigger,he played his heart out,Robbie tried everything he knew, most didnt come off,but at least he tried.
I and most other Leigh fans applauded the team off, they put the effort in,maybe Riddy is not fully fit,and Nanyn didnt see enough of the ball, our forwards were better than Barrows, our backs are lacking pace,Fev are not as fast as Barrow,i fancy us to Win ,have faith.
Also that is THE WORSE,ground in our division, for facilities,SLno chance.

| Stanton has pace, but is rarely put into a gap.
One of the few tactics that worked for us at the back end of last season was a little chip into the corner for stanton to chase. Not seen it this year tho.

| If you are not doing the walk make sure you sponsor a walker.
AT cannot keep digging deep, the others do not support him (Corporate Club excluded) so we fans must find Ian the money for 2 speedsters - dig deep before its too late.

Apart from the first 10 mins you got bashed all over the park.
Only when we had the game sewn up did you look anything like & that was down i would suggest to Barrow taking the foot off the gas.
As for the gound we know what it is, but i`drather have it than that souless concrete thing you lot have.

Stanton aint good enough, the only thing he has going for him is that he is fast thats it . He aint big enough and that cost us 6 points last night. He cant break a tackle cause he tries to go underneath players which often results in him gettin hurt.

| I like Barrows ground but then again I'm not overly d about baby changing facilites, seats, and fancy toilets.
Its rough and raw, and does exactly what it says on the tin.

| its hard to believe we got a BP out of this game.we were crud for large parts of it and got within 10 points of them,i havent seen so many unforced mistakes in ages.
keep the faith people, when the playoffs come round and with a full squad [hopefully] i believe we'll be back to our best and we know how good we were then dont we.

Agree with that, but sadly Super League doesn't - there again, I still can't believe that any Barrow fan believes they have a cat in hell's chance of getting a franchise.
The main thing that is p1ssing me off about our lack of pace is that, once again, we got caught out with a quick tap from the 20 - if we have to give away a cheap penalty to slow the game down then so be it, but we can't keep getting caught out with the same basic move.

| Well Castleford, Wakefield, Salford, Bradford etc better get there houses in order because their grounds are absolute garbage.
I know Salford are apparently getting a new one but I don't personally know when. Having been to Odsal this year I have no idea how anyone can tolerate watching rugby there regularly, it's miles from the field even if you're as close as you can get, no cover unless you sit and has very little atmosphere.

| Salford are a lot nearer to a new ground than the rest.......at least their land is nearly cleared so they can start building the new ground....... a lot of work has been done already.

| Its easy to give the effect of getting a new ground, after all they did the same three years ago. When you see some structure going up, then you can stop believing Wilky hasn't just paid someone to clear the ground

Yet we don't seem to be able to take advantage of a quick tap on the 20. By the time we get the ball there, via five passes (the last of which invariably sails over McConnell/Duffy's head) the opposition have not only got their defensive line in place, but have usually had time to do their nails, and hair and have a cuppa!

| The only player with pace is stanton playing with a centre with no pace and 2 halfbacks who like to play down the right side.

| Stanton hasnt got any pace, Maurice is right many more walkers needed, over 50 at the moment but well short of the 100 needed.
As for Barrow and SL, unless Des shuts his gob and they find a purpose built stadium over night theres more chance of me going on the Tri Nations tour in Nov.
Lastly if any of the clubs promising to build a new ground any time soon are relying on council funding under the great Tory government they have no chance of now receiving that funding so I think it will be a miracle if any are in a new stadium any time soon.
