Of course, it will require a Labour / Lib Dem agreement and Andy will need to be voted in as the new Labour Party leader.

Well I do not know him but he has got to be smarter than the Conservative's male alternative to Sarah Palin.

Another general election in 3 months imo. In the meantime the largest party should govern for those 3 months.

Without a majority it can't even order new stationary. Lab/Libs are very similar so have more chance, and have backing of more than 50% of voters.

Well although it has nothing to do with RL I shall respond.
Should we be daft enough to go to proportional representation we would soon have a parliament with BNP members. Soon after that we would have a Muslim party. It is bad enough that we have people in Wales and Scotland voting for parties because they are Welsh or Scottish. For too long we have had to put up with people in Northern Ireland voting for a particular party because of the religious background they happen to have been born into.

Largest party need to govern and if that is the Tories I will have to put up with it.

In the long run it is the best we can expect. I do not want a democratic government run at the behest of parties who are motivated by the colour of people's skin' where they happen to have been born' or whichever Supreme being that they happen to be daft enough to believe in.

A coalition of the major parties in the current circumstances is the best way out of this mess and if that means a Conservative PM so be it.
