As someone involved in the construction of LSV I was wondering what is the supporters opinion of the stadium now you've had a few games there?.

Wonderful facility, but doesn't feel like home yet.

The stadium itself is magnificent, I don't think we could have asked for better. However the other posters are right, it doesn't feel like home but that's nothing to do with the people who built it - it's down to the management who run it.

Well I like it but I have reservations and naturally suggestions.

Being realistic our average crowd this season will be around 2300 and we are told it costs £1200 to open a stand and there are more stewards than what is needed for a sport with people who know how to behave.

I really don,t see for most games why fans can,t be allowed to switch at HT between the North and South stands. The people in the West stand would not be inconvenienced because fans could walk round the touchline.

I also like a pint at HT but I won,t pay £3 for keg ale caterers please note. It would also be helpful for the heavier smokers if they were allowed a smoking area at HT although I probably only might have a cigarette if we were losing.

The Legends bar should be open free of charge after the game so the kids could meet the players and club memorabilia allowed on the walls AND again price of drinks should be more realistic.

One final point Leigh RLFC should be allowed to train on the pitch at least twice a week at no charge and fans if they want should be allowed in free to watch training sesssions .

Anyone else hear the Radio Manchester News today about Salfords proposed stadium?
There is further doubts about it going ahead as one of its mjor partners may be forced to pull out because of the 'credit crunch', apparently Salford College (I think it was) are having second thoughts because of lack of funding.
