Is the pitch coping with this continual watering it is getting?

I was invited down to training this morning by Rob Parker & the pitch looked fine before I left 30 minutes ago. I wanted to get the Leyhmobile flag signed by the lads for a good luck momento for the season & Rob did one better & invited me down to training because that's the type of bloke Rob is

It was a nice gesture by Rob the bloke's got a heart of gold. I wanted to do my bit for our club & show everyone what Leigh Centurions are really about so look out in the Wiggin & Leigh Reporter

I was down this afternoon, the pitch looks good except it's a bit threadbare in the in-goal area of the South Stand.

I found rob to be ignorant I went for tickets the other week and said hello to him he totally ignored me . Last time I say hello to him.

I have found rob to be same, he is one of the reasons we scrapped our plans of any sponsorship over the season, and know of a few others too thinking the same, however from a fans point of view I think he is doing a good job, and I'm still a leyther no one will ever change that and will still be at every game I can get too, I can't wait for season to get started,

In fairness to Rob he's working very very hard and putting in 70 hours plus at the moment. He can't and won't please everyone but is trying 100% and is a really nice lad and a great guy.

His results and numbers to date have pleased the board and he's improving week in week out and learning all the time. Let's not forget only five/ six months ago this guy was a RL player and is still relatively new to a commercial role which he's excelled in to date.

Please give him a chance.

Rob and I had all sorts of problems getting our act together for the programme last season - he'd be the first to admit it. However, this season, in the time I was involved, Rob had been brilliant, and it was great to work with him. I reckon we'd really got a great partnership going.

Personally, I feel that he's gone a long way, up a very steep learning curve, in a very short time.

I have not known Rob that long but today coming down the stairs at the LSV I bumped into him, he was busy talking to somebody as he passed me but he looked up and said hello to me that is not the sign of an ignorant person.

Robs a top bloke and as always come across as friendly whenever I've talked with him he's doing a great job for the club trying and succeeding in bringing much need cash into the Club which these days is pretty dam hard getting company's ect to part with cash..

From a fans point of view I agree, he is doing a great job, but he has put me off doing any sponsorship, but that won't stop me watching the club I love and I hope he carries on bringing in big sponsors

I'd urge you to reconsider opinion of Rob - it is my experience that he has been a delight to work with, and whilst he is extremely busy and under a lot of pressure he almost always has time for a quick chat, or just an acknowledgement when it's appropriate. I've never seen him treat anybody any other way and I don't understand why he would have treated you in any way disrespectfully on purpose.

I reckon Deano's mrs has told him to reign in the big spending!
