Heard he was offered a deal lower than last year. But the club is waiting on the RFL meeting decision before offering more. He does wants to stay at the club though.

The club offered less money, well obviously they will offer less, they have less to spend, and afterall it was the players plus coaching staff that got us relegated.

Most clubs seem to be cutting their cloth accordingly except Fax and Barrow. Widnes have released quite a few and are wanting to scav 5 players on this stupid dual contract scheme. Nothing like bringing your own players through.
