Not only have we lost Hoppy, but Im hearing that we are going to lose a Hooker a Winger and one of the best half backs in the league in 2014.

It is not a situation confined to RL it happens in all sports, the best players migrate to the best teams. If players are to be retained then Leigh have to become one of the best teams. Simples

It won't happen overnight but it is a lot nearer to happening than a couple of months back.

It is astonishing to me that people who do not come to our games anymore still come on this board to criticise'yet do sod all to contribute to club finances.

People in Leigh and the locality need to come to games then we might get to where I want us to be.

Over the years of my watching I don't always agree with what goes on but I want my club to be the best and not attending games would not help that would it.

I can understand frustration when we lose a player and the negatives it sends out.

For Leigh to get people back in numbers we must really buck the trend as RL popularity (in terms of fans watching) is sliding , I feel our goal is achievable if the new BOD / BOM make the right decisions and always keep striving for better but it'll take a lot of hard work every hour of every day by them all.
I don't like the link with Wigan - totally hate it , don't like watching Wigan's players (or anyone elses) play for Leigh however I also know that to stop that I've got to keep turning up and maybe biting my lip as if I don't turn up the amount of Wigan players will undoubtedly grow and eventually Leigh will disappear.
If fans don't do the hard stuff now (and these are dark days - lets not dress it up) then further down the line we'll just be a club that's remembered for its history, maybe a few more need to 'bite that lip' (and no, its not nice) to ensure our club starts to rebuild and have a bright long term future.

Just look at it as we are using them and not the other way round.

As I said join Lisa/ touchdown club more money we make means less players will leave to our rivals, anyone who good enough for SL we can't stop till we are good enough to be inSL
