And after all that, London lost...

I'd say that was at least 70 mins of great rugby by Leigh.

The team 1 through 40 played very well.

Loved the Iceland/Leyther Roar.

Cory deserved MOM, other standouts were Fui, Drinkwater, Hood, Smith (centre) & Reynolds (full back), but thought the whole team went well.

Were we 40 points better than Fax though or did they just get so demoralised after their mini-fight back came off to nothing.

Probably lose at Sheffield now...

Easy win really after all the fuss about how on form Fax supposedly were. Surprised how easily we cut through them all afternoon.

Forwards, backs and halves all dominated their opposite numbers making for a comfortable victory and a 3rd Championship in a row.

By my reckoning in the past 3 seasons our record stands at Played 70 Won 65 Drawn 2 and lost just 3 with a 100% winning record at the LSV stretching back to 2013.

Congrats to the lads on a great win, we can now rest, rotate and generally prepare for the all important 8's safe in the knowledge that top spot belongs to us once again! icon_biggrin.gifANCE:

Awesome display....great to see Riddy, Reynolds, Spencer, & Dixon back.....surely the only reason for not playing Martyn & Ben from now on, is that they're injured !!!

Best we have played in a while, for me MoM was Dixon, saying he hasn't played for so long I thought he did great, I predicted a very close match and 6 -6 Fax were still in the game. What amuses me is Faxer GFB is deluded enough to say the Fax pack is Superior to ours icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif his idols Tangata and Calahane, were they playing?I think Tangata head was sticking out of Fui, back pocket. icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

Best team display I hve ever seen, really pity the "fans" who missed that, it was 2/3 notches above anything last year and could have been 70

Quite easily could have been 70, but Fax were poor at around 3/10 their supposedly Super pack was non existent, as we're their invisible halves, Andrew Dixon had a blinder today even better because it was his first game in ages, maybe Lee Smith has found a new spot in the centres, keep up the good work Leythers, and Congrats on the 3 in a row League Leaders shields. icon_thumb.gif

Anyone else think that that performance may have something to do with the General being back in his rightful place? I haven't seen us click like that for a while. We were good at London but not as good as today. Great day out today. Bring on the 8's.

Tony , I thought Riddy played well today and kicked well, but a few others did well ,like Hock, Patterson,H H,and Dixon and Spenner even though they haven't played for a while, I was impressed with Lee Smith at centre also , all in all a very good performance , hopefully carry it on to the 8's, only down was Fax icon_eek.gif they looked very very average at best.

I agree about Martyn Ridyard. He and Drinkwater just oozed class for the entire game. I do like Reynolds too - wherever he plays, be it half back, hooker, or full back, he has been outstanding. Remember, that performance was against the 'form' team of the Championship.

Well done Leythers, fully deserved after a very consistent season. You did us at Bulls a favour today and who knows? we may yet see you again in the 8's, I do hope so after our exciting meetings this season. Once again congratulations.

Wonder if GFB still thinks Tangata is the best forward in the Championship! icon_lol.gif

The lad is good but isn't even close to the level of Dayne, Hock, Pato or
Fui.

In terms of Championship player of the year IMO it is a clear 2 horse race between Higham and Dayne Weston. Weston should get it this year, played every game and been totally dominant all season.

Best performance for a long time. Smith very good at centre, Dixon excellent in his first game back, ridy and Drinkwater superb together in the halves.

I'd give Micky and Weston the next 2 games off, keep them fresh for the 8's

Best team performance I've seen in ages from a championship team at this level, however bad we were today you ripped us apart. Paterson was particularly good
