Eventually got on top with a dominant second half performance, (aided by a penalty count in our favour) after trailing 12-18 at half-time. I thought that Nicholson's introduction part way through the second half, against a tiring defence, shifted the game up a gear.

We had denied Barrow a bonus point (and a second half score) until a terrible switch-off on the final hooter, allowed Adam Clay to score!

Agreed it was another win , but by no means a vintage performance , admitting we had a few first teamers missing , and maybe one eye on next weeks game , but when I heard one Leigh fan say we will have to improve 100% next week , I must agree .

Rob Parker did well , as did Tom Spencer , Riddy never has a bad game , I thought Cameron Pitman had a good debut , and I thought we speeded up a bit when Nico came on , but we again dropped a lot of ball , all their tries came from our mistakes, but a wins a win , and 3 more points .So well done lads . .

Any win, under very hot conditions, away and the week before a cup-final is a good win

Exactly, Barrow are right in the mix for relegation so add that in as well and I'm impressed with todays result, sets us up nicely for next week

Unfortunately I couldn't make this one as I was was doing the 62 mile Manchester to Blackpool charity ride on my adapted tricycle how did the team line out?

Team was McNally Pitman Littler Higson Pownall Riddy Kes Ostick Penky Parker Thornley Goulden Hopkins subs Bates Spencer Duffy and Nico.

You could have been one of them I nearly knocked over driving from Leigh to the A6 ,I passed many , who kept on overtaking each other , no signals and some 4 deep on the road , it was a nightmare up to Westhoughton .

Stop moaning. They were doing a charilty ride.

When we went past them we wound our windows down and gave em the (s) up.

Cheers I was a sensible rider always keeping to the left although I didn't stop me from getting abuse from a couple of people in 2 cars It's good to see we rested a few players although I thought Littler would of been rested. It's a shame Aspinwall won't be back in time for the final but it's excellent to see Parker back along with Higson's full debut. I look forward to watching the game on Centurions TV
