On the contrary, cricket is my second sport after Rugby League and I don't happen to agree with the nationality qualification aspect. Disagree with my opinion by all means but allow me to post it .

Most sports include foreigners in their natational teams these days but it doesn't mean I have to agree with them. Footballers like Drogba and Essien get my utmost respect for continuing to represent the countries of their birth.

These are difficult questions! Your criterion would have meant that Colin Cowdrey could have only represented India! Do you feel that really is right?

Of course it is right if you wish maintain the rules, the example you use obviously makes the argument look foolish. I imagine his parents were in India at the time so if exceptions were being made then that is where you would start. However in less mercenary times Cowdrey played for England for the right reasons as opposed to the current crop.

I remember Denis Law making sure is wife was in Scotland when she was due to deliver.
