Have Leigh missed out on him?

Thought he was going to Toronto? I think hes a really good player, we should have retained him. Funny how he hasn't gone to a bigger club.

Can't see how we have missed out when we let him go he is probably playing at his level now at Swinton.

He will be a good player for swinton. His oz adventure did not last long.

Not that long ago Charlie was on the Fax forum proclaiming him as one of the best forwards in the league.

So he left with our best wishes having said an opportunity had come up in OZ so DB let him out of his contract. A few weeks later it was rumoured he was off to Toronto....after his stint in Oz.....now a week later he signs for Swinton. Lucky Swinton eh not having to pay a transfer fee. Liar liar pants on fire

I would guess he is in for the remainder of the season to keep him in the game, before joining Toronto for next season - but that's complete speculation!

Loyalty works both ways, from the player then the club (I believe?).

Jake was a decent enough player at leigh and I wish him all the best .I'm have the opinion that many others have , that is we just want players who want to play for leigh and give it their all for the club. If you don't then see you later !!

Disappointed with Jake, but he would be back up now. I think we should have all the Toronto bound players on lie detectors as to when and how they were approached, it's a good job Derek has deep pockets otherwise we would be in a mess and the PR strategy a success. Negative motivation doesn't last boys.
