I see that the Challenge Cup Quarter Finals are scheduled for the weekend containing Sunday 8th June - the date of our home fixture with Halifax.
It seems like that game has to be re-arranged just about every season, because of cup commitments!

Well a good problem to have in this instance. Get us Widnes at home, on TV and not embarrass ourselves to much, decent money and concentrate on the league. |

Derek Beaumont mentioned this possibility on GMR, think he said it would be on the following Wednesday, though I assume Fax would need to agree on this date.

It's a shame the Halifax fixture is affected again. One of the biggest away following in the division having to come on a Wednesday night.
Regarding the cup there's a 1 in 7 chance of us drawing Keighley (unless it is fixed). So we could even rest a couple of players for the cup?

I'd agree with that, would be silly to rest players after the last scare we gave you and although we have had some injuries over the last weeks hopefully we could be back to full strength for the next round. I think both Leigh and Keighley would like to get a big payout and the only way to ensure that is for both to be drawn against top SL clubs or The Dulls who are still well supported even through their present difficulties ([iand long may they continue[/i).
