tonight on B.B.C.4 there is a documentary about Eddie waring the man who used our great game and turned it into a massive joke for his own ends, I couldn't stand his constant mickey taking references to Up and Under,remember the Saturday afternoon game when a dog was running up and down the touchline and they put up a caption reading K.9, He should have been ashamed of himself, say what you like about our present lot of Hemmings, Stevo, Woods and darling jonathan but at least they love the game ,.Waring didn't I will not be watching.

I will be watching since it is a major part of RL history and Eddie Wareing was one of its faces and voices. It won't suit miserable bar stewards.

Well IMO he did more for the game than most. A journo , GB Tour Manager not too bad a CV. I`ll be watching it and even the `78 Challenge Cup Final.
