I know it's the first game today but what a shambollic performance, it was dire the same old clueless rubbish like the end of last season.

Until we change the coaching staff don't expect anything else, it's totally beyond the current coach and his staff to motivate, direct and manage the team, very clear from today's game!

When will Mr Beaumont see what we all see and make the necessary changes for his own and the good of the loyal fans of Leigh, sorry it's not the players but as I said last year it all points to the coach, please, please put the guy out of his misery before it's too late like last season!

Seems the club got rid of wrong people at the end of last season. Never the less on wards and downwards three out of three so far???.
IGNORE until something is done.

I really do despair at times! We have a lot of very bitter clueless fans at Leigh.. I can't stand in the north stand and listen to half of the tripe that comes out of people's mouth. Toronto played with a chip on their shoulder today as we expected! Out of all the players that have gone and been replaced we wouldn't have any of them! They were very good today. Wasn't a rowley master class it was Toronto finding their front every time. The controlled the ruck all day in attack the hit the floor and played behind a rapid ptb which led too so the penaltys. Defence we didn't slow them down all day. We will be better than that and will beat them both other times this year. Couple of concerns for me Reynolds is far too cumbersome for me. Baptiste comes in at 9 Mortimer to 7 and hutch to 6. Another concern is we can't go with a bench of Lovett mason and Patrick far too lightweight. Lovett doesn't look upto it too me. Few positives vai vai found a offload and showed good feet and made solid yards every carry, we looked so good when hood was on the field too he had a good game. Not much else to say first game of season it's done and we will crack on

Oggy, I agree 100% with everything you say about the team changes,Baptiste is a must to start games, Reynolds has a poor kicking game and offer very little in go forward,Hall can kick goals and Hutch and Morty can hopefully guide us round the pitch.
Not mutch wrong with the pack, but I question if Jukesy is the man for the job?A deficit of 900 season ticket holders is an alarming drop, though the North Stand looked full, it was very quiet today, again only the first game plenty of time to learn. Some harsh decisions to be made.

Absolutely spot on, the difference was the bench....

Ours added zilch, while theirs was immense, especially Sidlow, who was MOM by a country mile!

We had plenty of ball in their 22 but didn't create anything and never looked like scoring ,by the time the ball got to our 2nd man they was in our face it was that slow,no urgency in playing the ball quick and how many time did we look to pass In the tackle and there was no one pushing up to support,Very poor but it's a long season and plenty of time to turn it round but if nothing changes decisions have to be made

How many sets of players do we need to see get controlled at the ruck, losing collisions, slow play the balls, technical penalties galore before the attention moves to the coach rather than the players?

Congratulations to Toronto, the score line was a fair reflection of the game, for 70 minutes of the 80 we were out played and certainly out coached.

We made several breaks with no one in support, were we not expecting to make any breaks? We don’t have a clue what to do on the last tackle, not much on the five before either. We’ve no idea how to control the PTB with or without the ball.

Should we change the coach? That’s a decision for DB, but one things for sure after a few seasons of being entertained under Rowley, Jukes teams are painful to watch (and so were Saints under Cunningham) and for those who say but Jukes took us to SL and Rowley didn’t, well so did Abram and we were crap to watch then as well.

We was starved of the ball last 15 and first 20 of second half and we did not know how to react to this. We played into the Toronto tactics and fair play to them come with a game plan and stuck to it we went to one man rugby you can’t blame the lads it’s just what they prob been told to do. The problem now we will prob win next 7 games and paper over the cracks that’s there with Cunningham and jukes I don’t know what degsy sees in jukes he must still be trying to prove that he better than rowley when he obviously is not it’s time to have a change in personnel in my opinion sooner rather than later
